The airdrop and testnet conversion
Both distributions are earned by usage, not by holding.
Agent airdrop
A testnet airdrop seeds agent supply, and while it is locked it can only buy compute.
- Locked agent airdrop can be spent only on compute: opening or topping up inference sessions.
- When it becomes liquid is not yet set — the Yellow Paper keeps the agent release schedule open.
Miner testnet conversion
The testnet conversion model allocates from a 1,200,000,000 FLOP miner pool using verified activity rather than token holdings. Miners are scored on verified compute served; completed job count and active days carry no weight, and neither does held balance.
Vesting
- Miners: a quarter of the grant is liquid at genesis. The rest unlocks one FLOP for every FLOP the miner earns serving inference on mainnet, with no time limit. Block rewards do not count. Until it unlocks, the locked balance can be posted as the miner's stake but cannot otherwise be moved.
- Validators: the grant is the validator's bond. It stays locked until the first halving, then grants are released one validator per day over the following 1,000 days. A released grant stays bonded while its validator is in the set.
- Agents: the release schedule is not yet set (see above).
These rules are ratified but not yet built: the runtime still vests every grant on a 90-day linear curve.
Status
Draft whitepaper. The genesis distribution ceremony is not yet wired.
